HomeCare 400 offers expert care and is the top level maintenance and breakdown repair service for your gas boiler, central heating system, plumbing, drains and fixed electrical wiring system.
What’s included?
- Repairs to all gas supply pipework inside your home, between your meter and any appliances
- Repair and maintenance for your fixed electrical wiring system, fuse boxes, light switches and fittings, wall sockets, circuit breakers and transformers inside your home and outbuildings
- A Maintenance Inspection once in every two years of your electrical fixtures and fittings*
- Priority response time when you have a total loss of power or lighting
In addition to all the features of Homecare 300 which include

- Unlimited call outs, plus parts and labour*
- Access to over 6,900 qualified and CORGI registered engineers
- Repair and maintenance of your whole central heating system, including radiators, pipework, cylinders and tanks
Repairs and maintenance to plumbing inside your home, including hot and cold water pipes, cold water storage tanks, overflows, ball valves and toilet siphons - A discount after two years for your central heating (as long as you have had no more than two central heating call outs during the previous 12 months)
- Repairs and maintenance to unblock waste pipes and drains (up to £1,000 including VAT for each job)
- A Maintenance Inspection once in every continuous two year period of your plumbing*

Consumer Tips
- With Homecare 400 you get an Annual Service – put a date in your diary to make sure this is scheduled nearer to the date
- If you want to pay a little less each month you can take Homecareflexi 400. This has all the same benefits as Homecare 400, with a lower monthly charge but you pay a £50 fixed fee per completed repair.
- Don’t take Homecare 400 out for a year and let it lapse, you get a discount after 2 years (as long as you have had no more than two central heating callouts during the previous 12 months). This means it costs less after 2 years.
- You also get a maintenance inspection of your plumbing once every two years – put a date in your diary to make sure this is scheduled nearer to the date
- Electrical fixture and fittings are also looked at in a maintenance inspection once every two years – put a date in your diary also.
